Charming Scalloped Detail
"The carved scallop trim along the front gives this table so much charm. It has a deep, rich wood finish and slim legs, so it fits nicely behind our sofa. It works well as a desk, too."

Overview & Features
Storage with a softer edge. The Scallop Console Table pairs a clean rectangular silhouette with softly rounded corners and the collection’s signature scalloped detailing across two spacious drawer fronts. Crafted from mango wood in a rich vintage brown finish, its slim profile brings warmth, texture, and hidden storage to an entryway, behind a sofa, or along an open wall.
Why You'll Love It
- It’s all in the details: Sculpted scalloping across the drawer fronts gives the clean-lined silhouette depth and dimension without overwhelming the natural beauty of the wood.
- Storage that stays out of sight: Two drawers keep keys, chargers, remotes, paperwork, and other everyday essentials close at hand while maintaining a clean, uncluttered surface.
- Softly sculpted: Rounded corners and legs soften the clean rectangular silhouette, creating a substantial wood piece that doesn’t feel heavy or overly angular.
- Warm, natural character: The vintage brown finish brings out the grain and tonal variation of the mango wood for a look that feels warm, collected, and easy to mix with other materials.
- Slim where it counts: At just 16” deep, Scallop adds a generous surface and useful storage without taking up unnecessary floor space.

Find your Just-Right seat
At Coddle, all of our sofas are built to last—with premium materials, reinforced frames, and high-resilience foam that holds its shape for years to come. That’s why our seat cushions are intentionally crafted with a firmer feel at first. Why? Because quality foam softens gradually with use, ensuring long-term comfort and shape retention. So whether you prefer plush or structured support, you’ll get comfort that only gets better with time.
Find Your Just-Right Seat
1. Ultra Plush (Mattress Toppers Only)
This level of softness is reserved for our mattress toppers—not our sofas. It’s cloud-like, body-hugging comfort designed specifically for sleep surfaces, not everyday seating.
2. Soft with Support
Our softest sofa seat. You’ll still sink in, but with a hint of support underneath—perfect for lounging, napping, or anyone who loves that laid-back, relaxed feel.
3. Balanced Comfort
The sweet spot. Starts firm and breaks in beautifully over time—delivering that “just right” balance between supportive and soft.
4. Supportive Sit
More structure, less sink. Ideal for those who prefer more back support or use their sofa as a multitasking zone (think reading, working, or hosting).
5. Extra Firm
Our most structured seat. Offers a polished look and consistent support that’s ideal for formal spaces or those who like very little give.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the dimensions?
The Scallop Console Table measures 57.5” W x 16” D x 30.5” H, giving you a generous surface and useful storage in a relatively slim footprint.
Does the Scallop Console Table have storage?
Yes. Two drawers provide hidden storage for the smaller things that tend to create clutter—keys and mail in an entryway or remotes, chargers, and other essentials in a living room.
How do the drawers open without handles?
The scalloped detail along the upper edge of the drawer fronts doubles as an integrated grip, allowing the drawers to open without separate handles or visible hardware. The result is a cleaner, more streamlined look.
Where is the scalloped detail on this table?
The signature detail runs along the upper edge of both drawer fronts. The overall console remains rectangular, while the repeating curves add softness and dimension to the clean-lined design.
Is this a good console table for an entryway?
Yes. At just 16” deep, it fits comfortably along an entry wall while the two drawers give you a convenient place to keep keys, mail, sunglasses, and other grab-and-go essentials out of sight.
Can I use it behind a sofa?
Absolutely. Its long, slim surface can hold lamps and decor, freeing up valuable space on your side tables. It can also become an occasional WFH station, a coffee setup for overnight guests, or simply an extra surface that makes otherwise unused space behind your sofa more functional.
Does it coordinate with the other Scallop tables?
Yes. The matching Scallop Coffee Table and Side Table share the same vintage brown finish and distinctive scalloped design language. Use the pieces together for a cohesive look or mix them with other materials for a more collected feel.
Will my table look exactly like the photos?
Natural wood has variations in grain, tone, and markings, so each Scallop Console Table will have its own character.
Does the table require assembly?
No. The Scallop Console Table arrives fully assembled and ready to use.
How should I care for the table?
Wipe regularly with a clean, dry cloth and clean spills promptly. We recommend using coasters or placemats to help protect the wood surface.

Well-Built & Frequently Complimented
"It's a well-built table with a warm, dark finish that looks great against a light sofa. It's narrow enough for a walkway but has room for a lamp and a laptop. I get compliments on it all the time."
